Privacy policy

Overview

IncluSport is a free service that helps families in Greater Montréal find adapted sports programs for children with cognitive or neurodevelopmental needs. This policy explains what information is collected, why, how long it is kept, who it may be shared with, and your rights. It is written in the spirit of Quebec's Law 25.

No account or sign-up

IncluSport does not require families to create an account. You do not need to provide your name or your child's name to use the service.

Information collected

When searching, you may provide a profile for the duration of the session describing your child's needs: age, city or neighbourhood, preferred language, disability-related needs, communication and independence, group preference, noise tolerance, comfort in public, desired parent presence, budget, schedule, transportation, and optional free-text notes.

Please do not enter your child's name or other directly identifying information in free-text notes.

Purpose

This information is used only temporarily to calculate which programs are most likely to match the described needs. It is not sold, rented, or used for advertising.

No child record retained

The profile you enter is processed temporarily to generate results. IncluSport does not retain it as a child record or file in its database.

Transfer outside Quebec (OpenAI, United States)

To calculate semantic similarity between the described needs and programs, a version of the profile is sent with each search to a provider in the United States (OpenAI), which generates a matching vector. The information sent is limited to items such as age, city or neighbourhood, and need labels in French. The child's name is not sent.

This processing takes place outside Canada and may be subject to foreign laws. The operator can disable this transfer; to learn whether the feature is currently enabled, write to contact@inclusport.com.

Exporting your profile

You can export your profile as an encrypted local file stored on your device. IncluSport does not have access to files you export and keep locally.

Retention period

Because no child record is stored, the profile is not retained beyond processing the search. Some technical information (access logs, usage measurements) may be kept for a limited time for security and service operation, then deleted or anonymized.

Security measures

We take reasonable steps to protect the information processed, including limiting retention and offering encrypted exports. No system is infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, particularly for free-text information or information stored on your own device.

Your rights

Subject to exceptions under the law, you have the right to be informed, access any information about you that we may hold, request corrections, withdraw consent (including to semantic matching transfers), and file a complaint.

Changes

We may change this policy. The current version is the one published on inclusport.com.
